Which version of the Mene-Tekel Deck that you use is determined by what you want to do with the deck in terms of possible effects and your overall perferences, plus your use of creativity as applied to the handling of the deck.
The Standard Mene-Tekel Deck is a good place to start when learning the principles of "duplicate pairs". Once you become familar with the deck, you can expand your knowledge by exploring other versions of the deck.
